On 3 December, our colleague Jörg de Wall held a webinar for the Directors Academy together with Dr Guido Ruegenberg, who is a partner at BEITEN BURKHARDT law firm. The topic of the webinar was “Appointments to the executive board from the perspective of the supervisory board”.

The webinar explored the topic in depth from a legal point of view as well as from the perspective of a HR consultant for supervisory boards and advisory bodies.
The webinar concluded that the supervisory board’s obligation to comply with the law and to act in the sole interest of the company requires professionally planned and executed appointments with specialist legal advice and the expertise of a HR consultant.
