Mutual appreciation is a fundamental prerequisite to good cooperation in diversity. Appreciation itself is a form of value creation.
At Fischer HRM our multi-national team of colleagues achieves its goals with an extremely close and fruitful cooperation with international companies and candidates.
The office we share in Düsseldorf is a major key to this work approach. Communication is dynamic here and creativity thrives, allowing us to put these synergies to work. The outcome is our truly international way of thinking from which we all benefit.
The team supports our Dutch colleague in the search for an Austrian manager for the Austrian subsidiary of a Dutch company.
For a Japanese company, our Russian colleague helps her Japanese colleague to find the Russian Country Manager for a Japanese company, who has international experience and whose personality fits into the Japanese corporate culture!
Maria Fischer founded Fischer HRM GmbH in 2002. Her main motivation was to apply her many years of experience in international recruitment into a value- and quality-oriented company according to her definition and understanding.
She achieves this goal with a team of colleagues and employees who share the value and quality orientation which Fischer HRM also supports with its membership in the Association of German Management Consultants (Bund deutscher Unternehmensberater) and the Diversity Charter, a corporate initiative that promotes diversity.
Fischer HRM upholds the professional ethical principles of the BDU and the values of the Diversity Charter.

With her strong social commitment and pro bono work, Maria Fischer is active for a range of different causes and charities. She strongly believes that actions speak louder than words, according to her motto of “Nothing good happens, unless you make it!” (Erich Kästner).
As Chairwoman of the Federation of Catholic Entrepreneurs Association (Bund Katholischer Unternehmer e.V., BKU) she feels strongly about ensuring ethical entrepreneurial principles, putting them to practice, communicating and sharing them. The issues addressed in the regular BKU meetings are central topics in her daily life. She is also involved in the Catholic magazine ‘theo’ as a Managing Partner.
Maria Fischer is an honorary member of the advisory board at fiftyfifty, the Düsseldorf project for the homeless. She is also a sponsor of African Angel and a founding member of the Düsseldorf-Schlossturm chapter of the Rotary Club.
Last but not least, once a year Fischer HRM supports a non-profit organisation by helping to fill a vacancy for free. In 2012, for example, Fischer HRM filled a position for the W. P. Schmitz Foundation, in 2014, a position for the Verbund Katholischer Kliniken Düsseldorf gGmbH and in 2019, we found the new managing director for the organization Zentrum Überleben in Berlin.
